Pop Art

Pop art could be pictures of anything from people to food. When making a pop art picture bright colors are used and a popular effect is Ben Day Dots.

Change My Look

Change MY Look Coming Soon.

To change my friend's look, I first took a picture of her and changed her hair (layer mask, hue/saturation) and eye color (elliptical/polygonal marquee, blending mode, color balance). Then I selected her out of the original background and placed her into a new one. We had to add 3 other objects into the picture. Carly (my friend) wanted to be in a coffin at the bottom of the ocean in Alaska. To compromise with her I made a sea bear running towards her. The seagull and the rainbow don't really fit with the terror of a blue sea bear running towards you, but I can't make the picture too terrifying. :)

Celebrity

For the Celebrity project we had to change the hair and eye color of a celebrity of our choice. To change eye color I used the elliptical marquee to select the iris. Then, I used the polygonal marquee to deselect the parts of the eyelid that had been included. From there I used the layer adjustment Color Balance to change the color of the selected area. Then I changed the blending mode so that it looked realistic. To change the hair color I used the layer adjustment Hue/Saturation. Then I used a layer mask so that I could just color in the hair. After I had everything I wanted colored I could change the hue of the hair to what I wanted.

Montage

Copy

My Original
For the copy montage, we had to make a replica of a montage we were shown. To do this I used layer masks, layer adjustments (sepia), the elliptical marquee, and the magic wand. For my original we were told to have a theme, so my theme was purple. I used both images from the web, and pictures I took. Along with all the tools I used for the copy montage, I also used different blending modes to make the tree fit in the bubble.

Layer Masks

For the Layer Masks project i took a background of mountains and put in a different sky. To erase the rest of the picture so that the sky fits I used the Layer Mask. I also added a tree, a moon, a cloud, and a bat.

Magic Wand

To make the orange creature I used the Magic Wand tool to select all the orange shapes and copy paste them on the white background. Then I arranged them into a fish..type..thing. For the top picture i took a landscape picture and used the Rectangle Marquee, Elliptical Marquee, Lasso, and Polygonal tools to cut out parts of the landscape and arrange it into this fish pond.

Crazy Combos

Head of squirrel, body of turtle, hoof of horse, wing of eagle, tail of tiger, and horn of unicorn. To make the Crazy Combos animal i cut out different parts of animals and blended them onto a turtle body. I used the Color Change tool, the Clone Stamp tool, and the Blending tool.
